I can't eat a cheat meal. (Oh, don't get me wrong- I will break down- My guess is it will be during PMS- sorry boys for TMI) Anyway, I have been contemplating it for days now. I know exactly what I will eat, but I can't actually do it. I am scared! I have talked to several people about it, I know it is okay to do it BUT I am afraid that when I do I won't be able to get back on track. Has anyone had a cheat meal and able to get back focused and stay on track? Or does it make this more difficult the next time you want something that isn't Paleo? I need Monday, I need my PSG!
breakfast: Paleo kit 3-2-6
lunch: 3oz chicken, pear, 3 mac nuts, 9 almonds (more nuts OCD!) 3-2-6
snack: 4 oz chicken, with grilled onions & mushrooms, lettuce, guac. hot sauce, nectarine, & water 4-3-3
snack: tea, raw organic honey,
dinner: 4oz beef tenderloin with garlic & olive oil, 2 sm. banana almond pancakes (actually pretty good) 4-2-1
snack: tea with 1 sq. dk. choc. 0-0-3
total: 14-9-19

My thoughts...If you already know what you want - eat it and be done with it. The longer you put it off = greater craving = harder to get back on the wagon.
You go with those nuts, Nacci!!!!
My advice: rather than consuming a cheat meal, like pizza, try a cheat food as part of your otherwise paleo meal, such as cheese on your eggs. make sense?
