Went to First Watch, paid particular attention to what I was ordering. Even asked if my omelet could be made with olive oil. So hungry after CF. Meal comes and it is covered in CHEESE! (I didn't ask for cheese. Cheese isn't Paleo, don't they know this?) Now, mind you it looked good, but I immediately started to scrape it off the top. I think I lost half my omelet in the process. I wanted to make sure there was not a drip of cheese on there. Patty asked why I just didn't send it back... of course everyone knows to never send anything back to the kitchen- they will spit in it! Well, probably not there, but I am just in the habit of not doing it. So, I ate it- I think I got most of the cheese off. So, I am not going to count that as a cheat! But I should change my journal from a 3 egg omelet to a two egger.
snack before CF: beef jerky, 2 mac. nuts, coffee 1-0-2
breakfast: 2 egg omelet with spinach, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, 2 turkey sausages, & coffee 3-1-1
lunch: 4oz gfb hamburger with port. mush. & onion inside, Laraba Banana Bread, & 9 almonds with water 4-3-7
dinner: 3 oz pork, banana, honey, 3 mac nuts, pear & water 3-3-3
snack: tea & 1 sq. dk. choc
total: 11-7-16

aaahhhh, the joys of eating paleo out! if I had a nickel everytime I said, 'no cheese'!! Good work, tho- I know that sucks to destroy a beautiful piece of food, more impt'ly, losing some in the process!!
Nice blog girl. You are doing more then great...exceptional! Enjoy your cheat meals you have earned them!! Happy V-Day!
Removing the cheese from your omelet must have been difficult because good cheese is delicious! i surprisingly am doing OK without cheese. You seem to be doing OK w/out it, too. You are doing GREAT, Shannon!
Honey is technically 100% paleo. You just don't want to go crazy with it, like me. (i need to scale back but i love it so!) Although honey is a pure, natural sugar, it's still sugar, and as such, it raises your blood sugar level, which is less than ideal. Also, honey is high in calories: a tablespoon will set you back 60+ calories!
